Inspired by a star-shaped blossom, the LilyDrip Starflower is built for bold, full-bodied coffees. This glazed ceramic insert sits inside your cone dripper, under the paper filter. It spreads your coffee grounds into a wider, shallower bed, so water flows through more evenly for a cleaner, more balanced extraction.

Starflower has a fast flow rate and a large bottom opening, and its side channels send more of the water out toward the bottom. That combination gives you a robust extraction that handles the fuller body and complex flavors of earthy, woody, and spicy coffees, pulling out their rich, deep notes.

Brewing with LilyDrip is also a fun way to experiment. Adjust your grind size and brew time, and you can pull a surprising range of flavors from the same bag of beans. Pro tip: the faster the flow, the lighter the body.

How to Use:

1. Pre-shape your paper filter with the included Compact Filter Shaper: hold the filter between the shaper and the Starflower, then fold the rest of the filter back over.
2. Place the Starflower inside your cone dripper.
3. Set the shaped filter over it.
4. Add your grounds and pour as usual.
5. When you're done, toss the grounds and rinse the Starflower under hot water.
