LilyDrip Sakura Ceramic Pour-Over Insert – Fast Flow, Fits V60 & Origami Cone Drippers
Named for the cherry blossom, the LilyDrip Sakura brings a little springtime to your pour-over. This petal-shaped ceramic insert sits inside your cone dripper, under the paper filter. It spreads your coffee grounds into a wider, shallower bed, so water flows through more evenly for a cleaner, more balanced extraction.
Sakura has a fast flow rate and a medium bottom opening, with short cuts in its petals that vary how water flows out the sides. That combination makes it a natural match for fruity, berry-forward coffees and bright, winey ones. The quick brew keeps fresh fruit notes and sparkling acidity front and center, while the medium opening keeps extraction controlled so you still get a sweet, well-rounded cup.
Brewing with LilyDrip is also a fun way to experiment. Adjust your grind size and brew time, and you can pull a surprising range of flavors from the same bag of beans. Pro tip: the faster the flow, the lighter the body.
How to Use:
- Pre-shape your paper filter with the included Compact Filter Shaper: hold the filter between the shaper and the Sakura, then fold the rest of the filter back over.
- Place the Sakura inside your cone dripper.
- Set the shaped filter over it.
- Add your grounds and pour as usual.
- When you're done, toss the grounds and rinse the Sakura under hot water.
