GIO is designed for a slow flow rate, with even flow through the sides and a medium bottom opening. That extra contact time between water and grounds brings out delicate floral aromas, like jasmine, lavender, and rose, without letting bitterness or sharp acidity take over. It's also a great match for sweet coffees with caramel, butterscotch, or honey notes, since the longer brew draws out more of their natural sweetness and richness. How to Use:

1. Pre-shape your paper filter with the included Compact Filter Shaper: hold the filter between the shaper and the GIO, then fold the rest of the filter back over.
2. Place the GIO inside your cone dripper.
3. Set the shaped filter over it.
4. Add your grounds and pour as usual.
5. When you're done, toss the grounds and rinse the GIO under hot water.
