Ichigo Matcha – Fruity Okumidori Matcha from Uji, Japan
Ichigo is a first-harvest Okumidori blend from Uji, Japan. It is bright, smooth, and fruit-forward with a softer profile, high sweetness, gentle umami, a pronounced aroma, and almost no bitterness.
The name comes from the Japanese phrase ichi go ichi e, a reminder that every moment is one of a kind. Each release of Ichigo shifts slightly in character, so no two tins are exactly alike.
