How to Brew:

1. Add 1 teaspoon of loose tea per 8 oz (240 ml) of water, up to 1 tablespoon (about half the basket). No spoon? Just scoop the leaves with the basket.
2. Float the infuser in your mug and pour hot water over it.
3. Steep, then lift out the infuser and enjoy.
4. Many loose-leaf teas can be steeped two or more times. Just float the infuser in a fresh cup of water. Toss used wet leaves after 24 hours.

Steeping Guide:

• White and green teas: 170°F (77°C), or boiling water cooled for 2 minutes. Steep 30 seconds to 3 minutes.
• Oolong teas: 190°F (88°C), or boiling water cooled for 1 minute. Steep 1 to 3 minutes.
• Black teas: 212°F (100°C), boiling. Steep 3 to 5 minutes.
• Herbal teas, tisanes, rooibos, and root teas: 212°F (100°C), boiling. Steep at least 5 to 7 minutes.
• Pu-erh: follow the guide for its type (black, green, or white).

Tip: For the best flavor, use filtered water.
