Gentle and precise, the LilyDrip Costas of Sweden (COS) is made for coffees that deserve a light touch. This white ceramic insert sits inside your cone dripper, under the paper filter. It spreads your coffee grounds into a wider, shallower bed, so water flows through more evenly for a cleaner, more balanced extraction.

COS has a slow flow rate, even flow through the sides, and a small bottom opening, the most restrained setup in the LilyDrip lineup. That gentle extraction is perfect for floral coffees, preserving delicate aromas like jasmine and rose without overwhelming them with bitterness. Pro tip: the slower the flow, the fuller the body.

Brewing with LilyDrip is also a fun way to experiment. Adjust your grind size and brew time, and you can pull a surprising range of flavors from the same bag of beans.

How to Use:

1. Pre-shape your paper filter with the included Compact Filter Shaper: hold the filter between the shaper and the COS, then fold the rest of the filter back over.
2. Place the COS inside your cone dripper.
3. Set the shaped filter over it.
4. Add your grounds and pour as usual.
5. When you're done, toss the grounds and rinse the COS under hot water.
